Everything you do by hand in Knowledges — create a knowledge base, attach a document, register a crawl seed, run a semantic search — is also available to agents and to Builder automations, through the Knowledges connector. The connector is published in the Apps Marketplace and works two ways:
  • as a remote MCP server that an Agent Creator agent calls as tools, so the agent can build and query knowledge bases during a conversation;
  • as a Builder app whose instructions you call directly from DSUL, for ingestion pipelines, scheduled refreshes or any workflow that has to keep a knowledge base up to date.
There is no credential to paste. The connector forwards the caller’s own Prisme.ai identity, so an agent or an automation sees exactly the knowledge bases its user is allowed to see, with the same permissions.
Not to be confused with Connectors, which sync documents into a knowledge base from SharePoint, Google Drive and similar sources. The Knowledges app goes the other way round: it lets agents and automations operate Knowledges itself.
