- as a remote MCP server that an Agent Creator agent calls as tools, so the agent can build and query knowledge bases during a conversation;
- as a Builder app whose instructions you call directly from DSUL, for ingestion pipelines, scheduled refreshes or any workflow that has to keep a knowledge base up to date.
Not to be confused with Connectors, which sync documents into a knowledge base from SharePoint, Google Drive and similar sources. The Knowledges app goes the other way round: it lets agents and automations operate Knowledges itself.
