# RP-Initiated Logout

> First leg of the OpenID Connect RP-initiated logout. It does NOT terminate the session by itself: it answers 200 with an HTML page whose script auto-submits a form to POST /oidc/session/end/confirm, which is what destroys the session and redirects to post_logout_redirect_uri. The access token cookie is cleared and Clear-Site-Data is set on every leg of the chain. Standard endpoint — prefer the end_session_endpoint advertised by GET /oidc/.well-known/openid-configuration.
